~ FAQ ~
Can I leave my children at Texoma Children's Museum?
No, adult supervision (16 years of age) is required within TCM. A children's museum is a place for interaction between children and the important adults in their life. TCM's MEMBERS ONLY Monthly Parent's Night Out is the only exception to this rule.

What is Museum Membership and what is the benefit of becomming a Museum member?
Museum Membership allows unlmited visits to the Museum for a twelve month period, inclusion in Special events, Email updates and discounts on Birthdays and Camps/Programs at the Museum. As a Member of TCM, you are also eligible to participate in the ACM Reciprocal Program.

Why do adults pay for admission?
Admissions provide a small, but essential, portion of revenue for TCM operations & programs. TCM is non-profit, which means it is a community focused, service organization that uses all income for programming and operations.

What kind of supplies can I donate to the Museum?
TCM can ALWAYS use paper goods (paper towels, toilet paper, and tissues), art supplies (construction/art paper, crayons, finger paint, glue/glue sticks) and cleaning supplies (bleach, windex, 409). Check the Calendar for upcoming Special Supply Drives.

How do you become a Museum Volunteer?
TCM is always looking for energetic individuals that love spending time with children, help with special events or festival booths, and assist with special Museum projects. If you'd like to become a TCM Volunteer, Volunteer forms are at the front desk. A background check will be conducted.

Where does Texoma Children's Museum receive its funding?
TCM has been honored to receive operating funds from several local foundations, individuals and corporate sponsors. To see the Museums list of sponsors, click on the Join Us tab.

What new exhibits are planned for the Museum? What about camps and programming?
The Museum has a few new exhibits in development: an astronomy and space exhibit, a hand-washing station (how to fight germs), and an geology/environmental area. For upcoming camps and programs - check the Calendar page!
